SOPHISTICATED FLYER DESIGN

February has been a great month for Plus-Diva Designs. With the promotion of flyer and ticket designs, I've gained a few new clients and some great returning clients. I wanted to show you the latest flyer I have created for Men of Style. I had the pleasure of designing their Drink On Us flyer & tickets again this year. LOVE the way it came out and they did too. Very sophisticated look. Thanks for looking.

CUSTOM BOOKPLATES FOR YOUR HOME LIBRARY

What is a bookplate? A bookplate is usually a small print or decorative label pasted into a book, often on the inside front cover, to indicate its owner. These are great for your personal home library or if you're the type to give book as gifts, this is just a little something extra to place inside the book. A simple title stating: This book was a gift from (your name).  If you belong to a book club or you are always lending out your books, this is a great way to make sure your book returns to your collection.

My first collection is featured on this post. It is entitled The Vintage Lady. There are 3 designs and they come in a set of 15, so that's 5 of each design. And of course your name will be added so they are customized just for you. They are sized at 2.5 x 3.5 and are printed on cardstock with an adhesive back to ensure staying power. You can round your corners are leave them square.

I am definitely planning on designing a few more collections of these to include the men and children of our lives but I hope you enjoy this sample for now.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR WEDDING BUDGET

Because I do understand the importance of setting a budget, I wanted to share with you how I price invitations. This is a basic guide that I use for all of my custom wedding invites. What determines the pricing? Paper, embellishments and printing just to name a few. $3 is your base and trust me you can have a beautiful, custom invitation for this price. Now, for a little more, we can add a pocketfold, ribbon, rhinestones and more.  Regardless, I have something for every bride.

As always email me for more information and we can talk about your specific needs.

WRAPPED IN GOLD

I really love the combination of brown and gold. With this 3 panel invite, I used a matted brown panel layered with a gold metallic panel and topped it off with a metallic white. The metallic white was used for the brown and gold printing. The invite is double wrapped elegantly in a gold satin ribbon to finish the look. This invite will set the tone for your elegant event and will be the talk of the town.

Happy Birthday M&M Style

Here is a sample of a fun Surprise Birthday Invitation for one of my first wedding clients. Her husband and family decided to surprise her with an All White 35th Birthday Party. She is a true M&M fan. Can you guess the color?

SAVE THE DATE

I am so bad at keeping up with the blogging but I promise to get better. I have actually been working with the couple featured on this Save the Date since September of last year. I can only pray to have more clients like them.

Ann-Marie and Russell have been dating for 10 years and decided it was time to tie the knot. They love going to concerts, so they wanted to make their Save the Dates a little more interesting and they decided to go with a custom ticket in their color scheme of purple. I was excited to try something different.

The tickets are not your standard sized tickets, but they make a great keepsake for your guest. The final product was printed on a metallic kunzite purple card stock and mailed in a coordinating envelope.

I will be posting the wedding invitation pictures soon! Can't wait for you to see them.
